After several days of publishing direct written policy responses from Tennessee gubernatorial campaigns, I wanted to create something readers could use as a quick-reference guide.

The goal here is not endorsement, ranking, or prediction.

It is to place the major candidates in one structured frame using the same categories: political experience, issue priority, professional background, governing style, challenge entering the race, and potential advantage.

That matters because campaigns often reveal themselves in fragments — one answer here, one event there, one interview somewhere else. A matrix forces the field into one readable comparison.
